For Fieldstone students, spring is the time to extend their learning out-of-doors. Last week, our entire school spent an enriching day at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, where students were involved in creative and collaborative workshops focusing on the relationship between art and the natural environment.
Students were thrilled to use Harbourfront’s world-class studio spaces. They created eye-catching masterpieces using stained glass, clay, and mixed-media materials. They also learned about honey bee habitats, and their art projects were designed to reflect this fascinating topic.
