Last Friday, the Fieldstone community came together for one of our most anticipated traditions of the year — the annual Cultural Showcase.

Students from all four houses proudly shared elements of their heritage through cultural displays, traditions, and, of course, delicious cuisine. Families generously prepared a wonderful variety of dishes, allowing students and guests to experience flavours and traditions from around the world while learning more about the diverse cultures that make up our school community.

The Cultural Showcase has become a cherished Fieldstone tradition. Each year, it provides an opportunity for students and families to celebrate cultural identity, learn from one another, and strengthen the sense of community that defines our school.

As part of this event, food items are sold throughout the afternoon, with all proceeds donated to charity. We are proud to share that this year’s event raised a total of $1,604. The entire amount will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross to support the community in Tumbler Ridge.

Congratulations also to Fox House, which achieved both the highest number of ticket sales and the highest number of items sold during the event.

We are incredibly grateful to the many Fieldstone families who contributed their time, effort, and culinary talents to make this event such a success. Their generosity and enthusiasm are what make the Cultural Showcase such a meaningful and memorable part of the Fieldstone experience.

Events like these remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom. At Fieldstone, celebrating global cultures and fostering a strong, connected community remain at the heart of who we are.
